FAIR principles applied to bioinformatics

The French Institute of Bioinformatics (IFB) has organised in partnership with the Institute of Integrative Biology (I2BC) a training course for bioinformaticians and biostatisticians wishing to implement the "FAIR" principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) in their analysis and development projects. The FAIR concepts, initially defined in the context of opening up research data, have here been adapted to fit in with a typical bioinformatics/biostatistics development and/or analysis project. Thus, the training does not address the "FAIR" aspects of the data but introduces several tools to improve the reproducibility of the analyses.
