This course is a Lead Auditor course for qualified and practicing Lead auditors who wish to be involved in auditing organisations against ISO18404:2015. It is mandatory for nominated Lead Auditors from ISO/IEC 17021 accredited certification bodies participating in the Royal Statistical Society scheme for the certification of an organisation’s management system which meet BS ISO 18404: 2015, who are required to satisfactorily pass the course. Other appropriately qualified and practising Lead auditors may attend as delegates.

The Royal Statistical Society scheme is currently a UKAS development project.

Entry Requirements
Candidates for the course who wish to qualify as a Lead Auditor for ISO18404:2015 are required to be able to demonstrate the following:

1. Successfully completed a IRCA Lead Auditor course, or acceptable alternative, within the last 3 years.

2. Two years auditing experience and 20 days auditing minimum in last year, of which 15 days should have been on site.

Anyone who wishes to attend the course but cannot meet the entry requirements can attend as an observer if places are available.
