Data Carpentry develops and teaches workshops on the fundamental data skills needed to conduct research. The workshop is aimed at people from any area with little or no prior computational experience who need to develop skills for data organisation in spreadsheets, data cleaning with OpenRefine, data analysis and visualization in Python, data management with SQL. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.
